In our quest to improve education and sustain the environment, Social Youth Drive Foundation is embarking on The CLASSROOM IN PLASTIC PROJECT by putting up a class room block for the people Akaglakope community.
This project will help provide education to over 300 children of school going age.
The Onus of providing quality education in comfort lies with us.
Social Youth Drive Foundation has introduced Classroom In Bottles whereby deprived kids will get the chance to go to school which will be built by them and their parents with the help from us using waste plastic. We want to create an environment which is free from plastic waste and at the same time we are recycling the plastic into something which will be of great importance to us. And we are on our way to delivering the first of our eco-friendly alternative learning spaces for disadvantaged children in hard-to-reach communities! We aimed at creating accelerated learning and empowerment opportunities to enable these children develop foundational literacy, numeracy and cognitive competencies.

This project proposal seeks to solve the problem of lack of school building infrastructures in the Akaglakope Community Basic School. This problem is the first priority from among other focused areas which the school is encountering. The others include, didactic materials/equipments provision, staff sufficiency/motivation and school beneficiary community supports.
